Festivus for te Rest of Us

Yesterday was our traditional Festivus Day Celebration. That's right the same one from Sienfeld. It is amazing how much this little celebration has evolved from the initial onset of just another reason to get together to eat, drink and be merry. It is now been six years since the first one back in 99'. This year it was a downer as it was not on the Saturday between Christmas and New Years, but that should only happen every 7 years.

We have the traditional stuff like feats of strength, airing of grievances, and of course the Festivus Pole. This year we also incorporated a rousing poker tournament that coincides with the festivities and now we have a new "Festivus Song". I'll post it soon...

What's with this Blog?

You may ask yourself, why read this blog?

I started this blog to answer critics that said that my other blog was boring and one sided. Quest for Ironman blog is one sided, and if your not into fitness or triathlons, it would be boring. I also write that blog to keep a history of my workouts and fitness level.

I hope you like this blog where I will hope to write about more everyday events and things that I find amusing.
