Police Nab One Of Their Own

Victor Willis, who was the Policeman and front man for the 1970s disco group the Village People, pleaded not guilty to drug possession and giving false identification to a real police officer after being on the lamb for five months.

His case was first featured on the television crime show America's Most Wanted in December. This hardened criminal was to serve 16 months for gun and cocaine possession when he skipped bail. His bail-jumping now gives a judge the right to impose the maximum four-year, four-month sentence in a penal colony.

I've got a feeling Mr. Willis, who co-wrote such hits as "In the Navy" and "YMCA" is going to be real popular in prison. BTW, HE WAS FEATURED ON "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED". You've got to be kidding me... I guess the crime rate has finally fallen to a point were someone wanted for cocaine possession has become one of America's Most Wanted. Thank god there are no more murderers and rapist still running around free.
