So there was an event that lasted one second this morning that will not happen again for a thousand years. Yep that's right that special once in a century time and date occurred at 1:02:03 am of April 5th, 2006.01:02:03 04/05/06
I stayed up special for this just to say that I was awake. I watched some Mind of Mancia on video on demand from my local cable provider.
Two things on that... One if you've never seen this show on Comedy Central you need to give it a try. It's real funny. He rips everyone.
Second, I know that I'm still in the "Windows 98" age (not quite the stone age... ) and I still haven't gotten Satellite TV or own a DVR (Tivo), but video on demand is pretty cool. It let's you see what you want to see when you want to see it.

I hate to point out to you that this happened twice that day and you need not have stayed up that late at all.
I also hasten to add that it happens every hundred years. It will happen again in 2106, 2206, 2306 and so on and so on.
You are so right... I am such a smuts. I had forgotten the ten year thing.
Unfortunately, if I had waited to 1 pm, do to the meetings and work, I would have forgotten about this. Then I would have said to myself… now what was I doing right at 1:02:03 pm…
I don’t know about you, but I would have had a difficult time remembering.
