Obama Cuts Budget

This past week, President Obama announced to his cabinet to slash 100,000,000 dollars from next year’s budgetary increase.

Yep, they’re going to slash 100 million dollars from next year increase in the budget.

That’s like telling someone that is making $50k that they are going to get a raise next year and then in the middle of it you tell them that you’re not going to give them as much as you thought before. Rally, who out there still gets raises in these times?

I was talking with Norm when we heard this on television I told her that they did this to show the not so learned American public a sign that they are being fiscal responsible and they tighten their belts. Unfortunately the belt that they are tightening is on a morbidly obese individual that is constantly hungry and is sitting at an all you can eat buffet.

What they are doing, is treating all of us like we are idiots.

After raising the budget, this cut to the increase will not impact the government at all. The US budget for next year stands at roughly $3.7 trillion. That’s trillion with a capital T. When you put the cuts in perspective it is a drop in the bucket like many of us know. To put this in perspective… If you were a middle class worker that makes $50k? The cuts on that individual would equate to $1.35. That is just enough money to buy one extra bear at lunch. Of course that may not apply anymore as they raised taxes on that as well.
