Useless Knowledge
I have been accused of being a master of useless knowledge....Here's one for you.
The word "queue" is the only English word which is still pronounced the same when its last two or four letters are removed.
There... don't you feel dumber now for knowing this?

I hate this word. The extra vowels are like place markers or something.
When I say it, I say Que-you on purpose in protest.
As I was told... this is a French word thereby explaining why so many letters are silent.
