Weekend Warrior
This weekend was spent doing things around the house and with the family. On Friday I went for a run and when I got back, Magic Marge and I had a night together as my kids went to their friends house and my wife went to work. We had a nice evening watching Law and Order and chatting.
Saturday was a day spent with just family. I got a chance to go to the club in morning and did a double workout. Three hours of weights and cardio work. My body still hurts. In the afternoon, we went bike shopping for the youngest and as the color choices were limited, we didn't pick one up. Later we went to Red Robbin for dinner. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, an elderly gentlemen sat down at our table and said that he was hired by Red Robbin to entertain the guests. He did some basic card tricks and told some jokes. We had fun and the time passed quickly as kept telling us his knock knock jokes.
After dinner we decided to go to the movies, I wanted to see Spiderman 3 but the eldest said it wasn't that good and the youngest didn't want to go see Shreck Third, so we ended up seeing Blades of Glory. It was rated PG 13, but it was way more R ish then PG13. There were several seance that I looked over at my wife thinking ... Oh boy, can't wait to try to explain this scene to them.
Sunday was spend outdoors doing yard work. I put in over four hours cutting up the trees branches that fell during last weeks storm and clearing up some of the flower beds of weeds. The weekend ended with my wife cooking ribs on the grill.
All in all, a great weekend.

Blades of Glory definitely wasn't for the youngest, IMHO.
That is the last time we go see a movie without checking out Kids in Mind. It had some traditional male humor in it, but there where clearly several scenes that made me cringe.
