Nerds Night Out

Well last night we had a Nerds night out. I had this question possed to me from a fellow nerd..."What exactly qualifies as nerd-ware? If I were to come I would want to make sure I was fully and properly equipped."
I responded with..."Historically, I would think that a pocket protector and a slide rule would qualify as nerdware. Now I think it is someone that carries a PDA. (or nerd pilot as I like to call them) Also qualifying for nerdware is what I've seen as a increasing amount of what I like to call the "Nerd Utility Belt".... This is putting the cell phone, pager, "nerd pilot", keys, badge, etc. on your belt. It is amazing how many of these "Batmen" are floating around."
Is it just me or do you see this trend also?
BTW, Nerds night out colminatted with a rousing game of Texas Hold 'em... and yes, I did win.

I don't think that Texas Hold 'Em is very nerdy. Come and play 8 hours of multiplayer PC games at a LAN party, now that's nerdy.
Dude, you are so blown you mispelled culminated and double posted.
HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Great game, sleep is for the weak!
Multi-player LAN games are cool. That was one of my initial ideas at making money. About 10 years ago, I was thinking at creating a business where customers could go to join a LAN and play games like Warcraft, Starcraft, Everquest. etc. I had seen one of the local hobby shops create a “Magic the Gathering” night at their store and it was very popular. I had thought if that works, why not LAN games. Food, coffee, drinks could be sold to augment profits and to keep it adult in the evening. If I didn’t get a “real” job that was going to be my plan.
Yeah, I was more then a little tired yesterday. By the time I had written the post, I had been awake for about 32 hours. I am more shocked that I only had one spelling error…lol. By 10 o’clock last night, Norm went and got a movie (40 Year Old Virgin) that I was able to watch about 5 minutes of it before falling asleep…
That is an awesome business idea. I'd spend money to not have to haul computers around and set everything up and make sure everyone has the same version and fix everyone's protocol problems, etc...
Knock yourself out... I didn't copyright or patten the idea.
